The  Ajanta Caves  are 30 (approximately)  rock-cut   Buddhist  cave monuments which date from the 2nd century  BCE  to about 480 CE in  Aurangabad district  of  Maharashtra  state of  India . [1] [note 1]  The caves include paintings and rock-cut sculptures described as among the finest surviving examples of ancient Indian art, particularly expressive paintings that present emotion through gesture, pose and form. Varanasi Ganga aarti

Dashashwamedh Ghat  is the main  ghat  in  Varanasi  on the  Ganga River . It is located close to  Vishwanath Temple  and is probably the most spectacular  ghat . Two  Hindu  legends are associated with it: According to one, Lord  Brahma  created it to welcome Lord  Shiva . According to another legend,  Lord Brahma . Ganga aarti (ritual of offering prayer to the Ganges river) is held daily at dusk. Several priests perform this ritual by carrying  deepam and moving it up and down in a rhythmic tune of  bhajans . [4]  Special aartis are held on Tuesdays and on religious festivals.
